Founded an independent app studio and launched Maxr, a social fitness app for iOS built around streaks and accountability-driven workout habits. Designed, developed, and shipped the app end-to-end — from concept and UI/UX to App Store release. Built with Expo (React Native), Supabase, and Superwall for subscription management.
October 2021 – May 2025 | Purs, Portland, OR
Led the end-to-end development of a bank-to-bank payments platform, including native iOS and Android apps, business web portals, and a merchant-facing SDK. Architected internal financial infrastructure to automate payment settlement and reconciliation across partner banks and credit unions. Scaled the organization to (10+ employees) by recruiting and managing personnel across engineering and sales functions. Drove early sales efforts directly with merchant customers while managing strategic relationships with banking partners.
October 2017 – Present | George Washington University Credit Union Initiative, Washington, D.C.
Co-founded and led technology (as CTO) for an initiative to establish the first fully digital student-run credit union at George Washington University. Drove all technology vendor selection, negotiation, compliance, and implementation from inception. Raised over $150k in donations and secured more than $800k in CD commitments. Continues to oversee governance, strategic direction, and technology decisions as a board member.
June 2020 – October 2021 | Raytheon Technologies, Riverdale, MD
Developed software for a suite of NASA tools used by researchers and scientists to organize, edit, and store Earth observation data.
